Hey there, world changer!
There is a truth so pertinent to walking in our unique purpose and taking steps towards the God-given dreams he’s deposited in our spirits — a truth that we must allow to sink deep within our souls and penetrate our minds. It’s the truth that you are enough.
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works that He has prepared for us in advance. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 affirms that by God’s grace, His power is made perfect in our weakness. The truth is that if God is calling you to something, He will make a way for you and it has nothing to do with your ability, credentials, and works, it has everything to do with His ability. He qualifies the called.
The “not enough” mentality can be so subtle, but I’ve found that it can completely paralyze us on our faith journey or prevent us from moving forward. It sounds a little something like this: I’m not good enough. I’m not healed enough. I’m too broken to do what God is calling me to do. I’m not gifted, educated or talented enough. I’m not pretty enough. I’m not popular or liked enough. I’m not strong enough. I’m too old or I’m too young.
You see, the God of this universe chose you to do great and mighty things in your lifetime. You are more than enough to accomplish every good thing He’s destined for your life. Don’t hold back or miss out on what He has for you because you think you’re lacking. Let me remind you, lack and dependence on God make for great miracles to take place because they require you to have faith. Go after what God is calling you to and remember that you are more than enough!
