Have you ever come out of a really challenging time in life and looked back to see the goodness of God through it all? I have.
There was a song I listened to recently that really stuck with me and the lyrics went like this, “If it’s not good, you’re not finished yet.” Those lyrics really stuck with me.
You see, God promises us that ALL things work together for our good. He doesn’t say only some things work out for our good, but ALL things.
Sometimes we associate things not going our way as God not being good. But, remember, rejection is God’s form of protection in our lives. If he denies us from something, remember, He only has something better in store.
Romans 8:28-29 in the Passion Translation says this — “So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son.”
Remember this, if you are facing a difficult situation and you cannot see through it, God isn’t finished yet. He promises to bring good things into your life!
