Hey there, world changer!
We’ve all experienced situations or circumstances in life that seem insurmountable, possibly overwhelming or even debilitating. The Bible refers to these kinds of situations in our lives as mountains.
I’m not a big hiker, but I’ve certainly gone on several hikes over the years. One hike that I went on that stood out to me, in particular, was this hike I went on in Germany. I remember standing at the base of the mountain amazed at its stature. It was massive and I could barely see it’s peak. If I’m honest, I was a little intimidated and nervous about hiking up it. Sometimes, that’s how life’s challenges can feel.
Sometimes mountains can look like pain or trauma that you just cannot seem to get past, a diagnosis without a favorable outcome or a broken relationship that doesn’t look like it will ever turn around. I’m encouraged that God doesn’t leave us to figure these things out on our own. He is faithful to walk with us as we face the mountains in our lives and gives us guidance on how to respond to them.
Matthew 17:20 says, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
At the end of the day, you need to remember that God has authority over any spiritual mountains in your life and certainly has the power to move them. I’ve personally seen God do it for me time and time again. He has a way of clearing out the path ahead so that you can step into the future and destiny he has prepared for you. I encourage you to activate your faith today and pray for the mountains in your life to move. Nothing is impossible!
