Hey there, world changer!

I’m so grateful for the grace of God. It covers all of the gaps in our lives, our shortcomings, and mistakes. I’m thankful that God meets us where we’re at and that we don’t have to clean up our lives before approaching his throne room. It’s sometimes hard to believe, but he loves us as we are in this present moment, regardless of where we’ve been or what we’ve done.

There are two ways we approach God when we’ve made a mistake, we hide, walk the other way or we draw near. Religion speaks the language of guilt, condemnation, and shame. A relationship is just the opposite. Jesus invites us to come as we are. When we understand the character of God, his grace, mercy and unconditional love, we don’t have to run the other way. He is the solution, our very present help in time of need.

Isaiah 41:9-10 says, “I have chosen you and not case you off, fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

I have a news flash…there is not a perfect person on the planet except for one. His name is Jesus. He longs to help you work through your hurts, failures, disappointments, and fears. All you need to do is come to Him. And, let me tell you, He longs to help you pick up the pieces of your life and make you whole. He is not intimidated by your shortcomings or imperfections, that’s exactly why he sent Jesus to die on the cross — because he knew you needed a savior!
