Hey there, world changer!
There is a song I’ve been playing on repeat for the last few months and there are some lyrics that have really stuck with me. The song goes, “I raise a hallelujah…Heaven comes to fight for me.”
Do you know that heaven actually fights your battles?
You see, I lived most of my life in “fight or flight” mode 24/7. It was extremely difficult for me to understand that God actually fought for me because I was used to fighting my own battles my whole life. That was because of my own brokenness. But, I later realized that because I was always fighting the battles before me, I was always tired. God never intended for me to carry the weight of the battles I faced. That was always His job.
Exodus 14:14 says, “The Lord will fight for you. You only need to be still.”
Deuteronomy 20:4 says, “For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”
Deuteronomy 3:22 says, “You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.”
Romans 8:37 says, “In all these things we are more than conquerors THROUGH HIM who loved us.”
I don’t know what you’ve been through in life and what pain you’re carrying around with you, but I want to remind you that you don’t have to fight anymore. Fighting your own battles will only leave you exhausted, burnt out, and drained. And, I believe some victories have not been won in your life because you haven’t allowed God to do the heavy lifting and bring forth the breakthrough. Because it is not by power, not by might, but by His Spirit that miracles happen (Zechariah 4:6).
I pray that you would have a revelation today that Jesus is fighting for you, that his angel armies are warring on your behalf and that he will not leave you or forsake you. Friend, I pray that you would know how for you Jesus is. He is a good God and brings forth only goodness in our lives.
